At the recent South Island Champs in Nelson it was rumoured that we would see the worlds first ever Diesel powered trials bike. The fuel was purchased and mixed with I believe a 70:1 two stoke mix. Sadly though the owner of the machine decided against making a debut at this particular event. Instead the fuel was poured into a passing Transit van and the experiment was put on hold.
